Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, having previously attended its High School attached to the Faculty of Music. Studied at the Liszt Academy of Music in Hungary for three years as a Hungarian Government Scholarship recipient. In the summer of 2001, participated in a seminar by Mr. Maurizio Pollini in Siena, Italy. Completed the Master's program at the Graduate School of Tokyo University of the Arts.
Awarded second prize at the 42nd and 43rd All Japan Student Music Competition, Fukuoka Tournament. Received the Superintendent of Education Award at the 3rd WAKI PIANO Competition. Awarded first prize at the 4th Kayabuki Ongakudo Duo Competition.
Studied piano with Yoshiko Tokuman, Katsumi Ueda, Sándor Falvai, and Akiyoshi Sako, and chamber music with Sándor Devich.
After serving as a Part-time Lecturer at the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, the individual is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education, Yamaguchi University.
