Born in 1975. Studied percussion at Showa University of Music and composition at the Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS). Active as a percussionist since 1998, and from 2004, expanded activities centered on composition and media art. Presented works at ISEA2004 (Finland), Sounding Taipei2004 (Taiwan), Ogaki Biennale (Gifu), and 48 Stunden Neukölln (Germany). Received an Honorary Mention in the Digital Musics category at Ars Electronica 2006 (Austria, under the name Mimi). His work "Suite for Player Piano," which features competitive original games played via computer and player piano, received the Excellence Award at the 3rd AAC Sound Performance Dojo. In recent years, he has also been researching stage performances based on studies of performance motion analysis. Currently a full-time lecturer at Nagoya University of Arts and Sciences.
