1. Although the tempo is indicated as quarter note = 144-160, please be careful not to let it become too slow. In measures 15-17, for example, if the tempo is too slow, the sound will decay. Try to set a tempo that allows for a lively atmosphere.
2. Clearly distinguish between staccato and legato. The contrast in articulation is important.
3. Consider the right hand as the melody and the left hand as the accompaniment. Therefore, for example, in the first line, instead of making it sound like EGEDGEDGGC, aim for D ED ED GC. It is correct to prioritize the right hand throughout (only in measure 14 does the right-hand melody line pass to the left hand).
4. Once you become accustomed to it, you may add a little movement. Even if not full rubato, it is acceptable to seek a sense of direction in the tempo. For example, in the first line, progress forward towards measure 3, and then play measure 4 with a slightly lingering feel.
If the staccato is too heavy or the tempo is too slow, the lively feeling will be lost, and the piece will become heavy; therefore, do the opposite.
