In C major, it is a one-part form.
A[a(measures 1-4) + b(measures 5-8)]
The theme comprises the first four measures. The theme itself has a two-part structure: the first part features ascending and descending arpeggiated lines in octaves in both hands, while the second part, with homophonic elements, has a delicate eighth-note movement in the left-hand accompaniment. However, these eighth notes in the left hand maintain a G pedal point, with other notes moving in parallel motion a third below the melody.
The four measures from measure 5 also fundamentally share the same structure as the first part, but starting from the dominant in a lower register, they convey a greater sense of strength.
Since a harmonic cadence is formed across all eight measures (tonic → dominant → tonic), one should avoid pausing too much at measure 4 and instead aim to perform with an awareness of the larger eight-measure flow.
