Although there is no key signature, it is a work in G major. It is in 3/4 time. The feel of the triple meter and the approachable melody create a pleasant sensation reminiscent of a merry-go-round. The beautiful sound of the sixths in both hands is also a highlight.

The key point of this piece lies in the frequent appearance of 6th intervals. Among the various intervals, the 6th is the one that most reveals the performer's skill. In this piece, the right and left hands each play one voice, which offers some reassurance. However, there are many instances where the right hand alone plays 6th intervals, and in such cases, the lower note of the 6th is invariably played by the 1st or 2nd finger.
The 1st finger is the strongest, while the upper note is played by the 4th or 5th finger. Since the 4th and 5th fingers are weaker, the inner voice played by the 1st finger tends to sound too strong, disrupting the balance. This is why 6th intervals are difficult.
This piece progresses in a detached and mechanical manner (at a tempo close to a metronome), but always play the left hand softer than the right hand.
Measures 4 and 12 correspond to commas in a sentence, while measures 8 and 16 correspond to periods. Be very careful not to make the "period" sections too loud.
