Dividing this first movement into several sections and establishing cadences (points of conclusion) makes the music much more musically comprehensible and enjoyable to listen to.
For example, the orchestral section begins in measure 1 and continues until measure 7, after which the solo section commences from measure 8.
- Measures 8-9
- Measures 10-11
- Measures 12-14
- Measures 15-18
Subsequently, the music modulates to G major, leading into the G major orchestral section. The solo part up to this point should be divided into these four sections. And generally, the volume should increase as it approaches G major (of course, there are many exceptions, and the volume may be reduced at times depending on various circumstances).
Furthermore, the orchestral section is not necessarily always the location of a cadence. For instance, the next cadence may be considered the point in measure 41 where the music returns from A minor to C major. In any case, divide the music at natural breaks, establish a direction within each, and construct the music accordingly.
