This piece humorously depicts a family of frogs. The frog illustrations in the score are also quite striking. Play at a brisk tempo, "peacefully" (のどかに), with a quarter note tempo of 132-144. In the left hand, chords appear on weak beats; to prevent them from becoming heavy, play as if leaping like a frog to the next chord, moving forward together with the right hand. It is interesting how the frogs' leaping style changes in measures 3-4. From measure 13, a dialogue between the parent and child begins. When the young frog sings in measures 13-14, the parent frog responds in measures 15-16. The parent frog's melody has more inflection and is more expressive than the young frog's, almost resembling a singing lesson. For the p subito (suddenly p) at measure 22, beat 4, carefully observe the preceding eighth rest and instantly transition from an f to a p dynamic. Imagine a frog family's stroll on a warm day and enjoy the performance. The composer's comment regarding the performance states, "with a warm feeling" (暖かい気持ちで).
