For instance, in measures 18 to 19, a somewhat forceful and abrupt modulation from E-flat major to D minor can be observed, suggesting that a slower tempo is preferable. The piece features numerous chromatic progressions, and it would not be incorrect to interpret this as an expression of a certain kind of sorrow.
Consequently, rather than being a vibrant and energetic piece, it is more appropriate for it to be a piece that is sung out fully and slowly.
The cadences occur in G minor at the first beat of measure 7, in D minor at the first beat of measure 14, in E-flat major at the first beat of measure 18, and in G minor at the third beat of measure 25. By being mindful of the cadences and performing the piece by dividing it into sections, it becomes clearer for both the performer and the listener. The rest is left to the performer's discretion to determine the dynamics for each key.
Please imagine a world that is very solemn, fantastical, and dreamlike.
