This is the first movement of a sonata whose mood drastically changes with tempo. This is a highly subjective discussion. From this point, it will be the author's personal judgment, but to conclude, a tempo of approximately quarter note = 80 seems appropriate for this first movement. It allows for a certain calmness and avoids a sense of being rushed.
Although this first movement is written almost entirely in two voices, it is advisable to imagine a string ensemble, such as a string quartet, as an underlying idea. The overall character is optimistic, completely devoid of any serious elements. Even in the development section, time flows remarkably peacefully, and chords such as diminished thirds or diminished sevenths are not used. Please allow the music to progress leisurely and comfortably throughout.
For this reason, if the tempo of this first movement becomes around quarter note = 100, one inevitably feels a sense of being rushed and busy, which is perceived as inconsistent with the mood of the piece.
Regarding the dynamics of this first movement, there is no great need to consciously broaden their range. Sections with many notes or bass octaves, due to their sheer number of notes, are written such that they naturally become louder when played.
