General Description
This is a complete four-voice fugue. The piece is optimistic, progressing subtly yet dynamically.
Articulation
The repetition of the same notes in the theme (e.g., F-F, G-G) can make it sound stiff and heavy. For articulation, use light staccato on consecutive eighth notes. This will alleviate the heaviness and mechanical stiffness.
Theme Treatment
Always prioritize bringing out the theme. Furthermore, as the tonality changes midway, vary the theme's volume and timbre to differentiate the mood according to the key. Also, in this fugue, where is the peak point reached? And where is the lowest point of tension?
Structure and Dynamics
Although it may sound like a continuously flowing piece, recognizing the cadential forms allows the music to be segmented, creating a more comprehensible development for both performer and listener. Regarding dynamics, for music that might otherwise appear to have a flat progression, it is crucial to introduce even greater variations in volume.
