First, regarding the Prelude, it is influenced by the French Overture. Therefore, the dotted notes can be rendered slightly more incisively than written. It should be performed with dignity. Furthermore, as long as the rhythm does not become loose, improvisation is permissible. For example, the rhythm is identical for the initial six measures. Thus, it is possible to vary the timing of these six measures. For instance, the chord in measure 3 is a striking chord in B-flat major, suggesting a slight temporal separation from the preceding chord before its arrival.
Regarding the Fugue, measures 19-22 may be identified as the theme (subject). Measures 19-20 can also be considered. Please be mindful of patterns of this theme that are easily overlooked (e.g., the bass in the third beat of measure 77).
Although augmented and diminished intervals appear frequently, it should fundamentally be regarded as an optimistic composition. Finally, from measure 94 onwards, please perform with improvisational freedom (specifically, ensure the timing does not become mechanical).
