Profile
Born in Kawachinagano City, Osaka Prefecture, in 1958. Graduated from Osaka University of Arts in 1981. Studied under Yoriko Nakatani, Ryuzaburo Hayano, Hitomi Okimoto, Hiroshi Nanatsuya, and Kazuko Hara.
Currently, he is a part-time lecturer at Shobi College of Music, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, and Osaka University of Arts.
In August 2008 and August 2010, his works were performed at the Tonhalle Zurich to critical acclaim. He actively provides his compositions to performers both domestically and internationally. He is a member of the Japan-France Contemporary Music Association.
