Began playing the violin at the age of 4. Awarded First Prize at the 56th and 60th All Japan Student Music Competition, Fukuoka Tournament. Received Third Prize at the 14th Japan Classical Music Competition, National Tournament. Won the IMA Music Award at the Ishikawa Music Academy 2008. Awarded the Grand Prix at the 15th Okiden Sugar Hall Newcomer's Concert Audition, leading to a performance with the Malmö Symphony Orchestra in Sweden, conducted by Mr. Hideya Ohkatsu. Performed at the Toho Gakuen School of Music Students' Concert. Selected as a finalist at the 12th Tokyo Music Competition. Performed with the Ryukyu Symphony Orchestra at their 27th Subscription Concert, conducted by Mr. Naoto Otomo. Studied violin under Tetsuo Takamiyagi, Junko Yabiku, Koichiro Harada, and Michiko Kamiya. Currently a 3rd-term fellow at the Suntory Hall Chamber Music Academy.
