Born in Saitama Prefecture. Began playing the cello at age 5. While in the United States, attended the North Shore Music School and participated in Suzuki Method summer schools, among others. After returning to Japan, simultaneously graduated from Tokyo University of Agriculture and enrolled in the Cello Department of the Toho Gakuen College Diploma Course, studying under Mr. Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi and Mr. Hakuo Mori.
After completing the course, participated in professional orchestras in Tokyo, K-Ballet Company, and Broadway musicals, among others. As a soloist, performed Dvořák's Cello Concerto with the Traum Symphoniker Orchestra and the Nagareyama Philharmonic Orchestra.
Currently serves as Principal Cellist of the Kobaken to Nakamatachi Orchestra, Cellist of Quartet Notts, and a member of the Tokyo Chamber Orchestra.
