When composing this piece, I envisioned the evening sky I looked up at as a child after playing until exhausted, and the scene of returning home as if reminiscing about something. There are key passages where melodies chase each other, and through their repetition, the work is contrapuntally structured. In terms of sonority, modern harmonies are actively employed, but care was taken to ensure the piece does not sound overly complex.
