Kuhlau, copyright held by the editor, price 10 Groschen, Leipzig, C.F. Peters' Bureau de Musique, registered in the Union Archive, 2460. This work is an arrangement of the Rondo for Flute and Piano, Op. 98. Uniquely among his piano works, the word 'Solo' is written after 'Piano'. Composition began after January 20, 1829, and it was sent to the publisher on March 14, 1829. The published score was sent to Kuhlau and Rohse at the end of March 1830. It was advertised in the April 1st issue of Adresse newspaper, in June on the advertisement page of the Allgemeine musikalische Zeitung, and a brief review was published on the same page on August 25, 1830.
This work, both in terms of its quality and the fact that it is considered Kuhlau's own arrangement, rightfully belongs among his piano works.
