Rocherolle has composed numerous Christmas collections featuring diverse styles. Over a period of 30 years, he has published 11 collections for piano solo and 4 for piano duet, in addition to collections for chamber music (piano trio). A distinctive feature of this particular collection is the inclusion of unique arrangements, such as a swift rendition of Tchaikovsky's "Trepak" (from The Nutcracker) and a swing-infused arrangement of "Jingle Bells" (titled "Swingle Bells"). Conversely, many of the carols featured here are pieces Rocherolle has previously arranged in his earlier Christmas collections, now presented with fresh, re-worked arrangements. All pieces exhibit restrained originality and are unobtrusive. This reflects the accommodating nature of the American piano industry, which publishes multiple versions of excellent arrangements, and the high demand for Rocherolle's new arrangements.
