The repeated right-hand scales and the chromatic left-hand passages at the beginning depict the motion of a merry-go-round. It requires playing the sixteenth notes accurately without stumbling, and the left hand rhythmically. From measure 9 onwards, the momentum does not falter. It is advisable to play while fully appreciating new elements such as the shifting harmonies and the left-hand syncopation.
