One of the many Christmas collections (11 for solo, 4 for duet) written by Rocherolle with various concepts. Published in 2008, it is the most recent album for solo piano. This is an original work commissioned by Hal Leonard, which emerged as the current leading publisher after a series of mergers and dissolutions within the highly competitive American sheet music publishing industry. Meticulous attention to detail is evident in every aspect, including song selection, the degree of creative embellishment, playability, and auditory appeal, surpassing his usual standards. Only the last piece is for piano duet. It is "O Holy Night" by Adolphe Adam, a representative French carol known for his ballet music "Giselle." An excellent arrangement imbued with a profound sense of lingering emotion. This volume is highly recommended as a primary choice among Rocherolle's extensive Christmas collections, suitable for a broad spectrum of musicians.
