This work was released as a sequel due to the positive reception of "Blues Concerto" (published in 2002). Although the published score indicates "Piano Solo with Piano Accompaniment," it is essentially an original work for two pianos. The First Piano (Piano Solo) is at the level of Burgmüller, making it considerably easier technically than the previous work. Instead of dealing with difficult rhythms such as syncopation or swing, it creates a jazz atmosphere by frequently employing impactful phrases that include blue notes. The composition is so skillful that even a hesitant performance can paradoxically add to its charm. This is likely the skill of a composer who thoroughly understands the realities of music lessons. The Second Piano is best played by a slightly more advanced student or a teacher. The main key is C major, and like the previous work, it is in a single movement. It begins in Allegro moderato, 4/4 time, but develops diverse musical ideas, interweaving fast and slow tempos, keeping the listener engaged. Even with technical constraints, the ingenious combination of two pianos produces a powerful sound. There is great benefit in learners becoming familiar with such pieces from an early stage.
