It is in G major and binary form.
A [a (measures 1-4) + a1 (measures 5-8)]
B [b (measures 9-12) + c (measures 13-16)]
The left-hand accompaniment expresses the dance rhythm through chords of half notes and quarter notes. The 8-measure A section develops with shared motifs and in the same register; however, the initial four measures are somewhat light in mezzo-piano, transitioning to a firm expression with forte from the fifth measure onwards.
From the B section, a flowing eighth-note figuration continues, and from measure 13, the left-hand accompaniment further develops intricately with eighth notes, leading to the conclusion. This structure, conceived with such performance effects in mind, reveals that the composer Wölfl himself was an excellent keyboard player.
