First, let's try translating the lyrics using Google or similar tools. You will understand that the content expresses pure feelings towards God. Furthermore, pay attention to where the lyrics are capitalized; consider the point before capitalization as the end of a phrase or sentence. For example, in measure 1, Schaffs mit mir, a comma appears, and from measure 2, Gott begins with a capital letter. As one idea, the soprano melody CHC in measure 1 should be connected without a break, and after the final C, a pause should be made. Then, starting anew from measure 2 with AH will create a natural phrasing, similar to reading a sentence.
In measure 2, the soprano has AH, but note the comma after Gott-. After the H, a pause should be made, and then C(nach) should begin anew, and so on.
The polyphonic elements are also strong, with the left hand having its own melody. However, since the lyrics are aligned with the soprano (right-hand) melody, please prioritize making the soprano heard.
