The left hand expresses the swaying of rape blossoms. The peak of the first phrase is on the third beat of the third measure in the right hand, and it is characteristic that the dynamic, which was mp, changes to p there. By intentionally playing important notes p, one is inclined to play them with great care. Furthermore, the first phrase will cohere if a slight weight is felt in the second measure. From measure 9, while the moving tenuto notes are important, pay attention to the fact that the second beat in the left hand is sustained on the note 'A'. By focusing on aligning the length, weight, and quality of the stationary 'A' note while allowing the ascending tenuto notes to grow, a natural tension will emerge in the performance. The sense of release upon reaching measure 12 is like a pleasant breeze blowing through a field of rape blossoms. From the second ending of measure 17, the breaks in the slurs are offset between the left and right hands, making it challenging; therefore, significant concentration is again required to accurately perform these breaks, rests, and tenuto notes. And from the f in measure 23, which is then reached, begins the climax of this piece. One should play it as if taking a deep breath, allowing ample time. Please enjoy playing by transforming the tension and release created by the musical writing into imagination.
