Judging from the number of ornaments and the fact that ornaments are applied even to 16th notes, it is evident that the tempo is quite slow. Indeed, this seems to be the case. A concern arises, for instance, with the whole note C in the right hand of measure 5: while it poses no issue on an organ, when played on a piano, if the tempo is excessively slow, there is a worry whether it will sustain audibly for the full four beats. From this perspective, when performing on the piano, it might be advisable to slightly increase the tempo, albeit only marginally.
The piece modulates to A minor between measures 11 and 12, but otherwise remains in C major. The A minor section is considered to have a slightly increased tension. However, in the other C major sections, there are no significant climaxes or sense of pressure, and phrases progress in two-measure units (except for measures 3-5, which comprise three measures).
In the final C major section of the latter half (measures 8-9), as the hands separate, please increase the tension slightly here to create a grand atmosphere.
