This sonatina contains only two dynamic markings; therefore, the dynamics in other sections are left to the performer's discretion. Although there are no tempo markings, it is safe to choose a relatively fast tempo for this sonatina.
Firstly, regarding the character of this sonatina, it possesses a vibrant, lively, and highly energetic nature. The tension is high from the beginning and remains so until the end. The mood of the piece lacks any serious aspects; rather, it should be considered a joyful composition. Therefore, articulating the quarter notes with staccato will create a sense of lightness.
The keys change rapidly. Each change should be accompanied by a shift in color. For instance, a sequence begins from measure 3. This should be regarded not as a modulation, but as a harmonic sequence. For example, measure 3 should be played with a relatively large volume (considering the phrase from measures 1-6, measure 3 can be seen as the peak), while measure 4 should be played with a softer quality in contrast.
