For clarity in measure numbering and ease of explanation, Minuet 1 and Minuet 2 are each numbered starting from measure 1.
Minuet 1 and Minuet 2 generally progress in 4-measure phrases. Strictly speaking, only measures 13-16 of Minuet 1 comprise two descending sequences; otherwise, both Minuet 1 and Minuet 2 proceed in 4-measure units.
The peak dynamic point for Minuet 1 is measures 9-12, and for Minuet 2, it is measures 9-16.
In Minuet 1, measures 5-8 exhibit higher tension than measures 1-4; measures 9-12 reach the highest tension, followed by a gradual decrease in tension in measures 13-16, and a return to calm in measures 17-20.
In Minuet 2, measures 1-4 form a descending sequence in 2-measure units, with measures 5-8 demonstrating higher tension than measures 1-4.
Measures 9-16 represent the section of highest tension, with measure 10 and measure 15 serving as individual peak points.
Please apply dynamics in accordance with this progression.
Although Minuet 1 contains numerous ornaments, it is suggested that they be omitted during the first playing and introduced upon the return to Minuet 1 after the conclusion of Minuet 2.
