Following a brief introduction, the musical idea, characterized by agile movements, evokes, as the title suggests, the light dance of fairies. It is a scherzo-like piece. A musical idea introduced un poco animato alternates with the main musical idea. This is an attractive etude featuring intense key changes, abrupt rhythmic shifts, and a demonic atmosphere. In contrast to the relatively easy first piece, this one demands highly advanced technique.
