A dance symbolizing the Tea Spirit. This comical and charming piece depicts fairies dancing, leaping and jumping.

The simple left-hand accompaniment is originally played by the bassoon and double bass. The right-hand theme, which rapidly ascends in septuplets, is performed by the flute and piccolo. The eighth-note passages appearing between the themes are violin pizzicato. The piece is constructed through the repetition of these elements, employing a very simple compositional style.
