Initially located in the low register, the right-hand variation melody becomes more complex and ascends through the middle register to the high register. Simultaneously, the melody is diversely characterized by numerous ornaments while increasing its tension. After the harmonic change cycles shorten, the powerful yet dark musical idea shifts to a major key and reaches its climax in absolute light.
